About Karate Federation of Nigeria (KFN)
Karate Federation of Nigeria is a non-profit organization and the general governing body for the sport of karate in Nigeria. They govern the affairs of karate sport within the nation. It is the only karate association recognize by the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) for the sport of karate in Nigeria.
This association operates under the Union of African Karate Federation as a member as well as the World Karate Federation as it's affiliate. It was established in the year 1992 by the federal government of Nigeria for the development of karate in Nigeria.
They are the only association mandated to send athletes to the Olympic Games, they promote the interest and growth of karate sports in Nigeria.
The Karate Federation of Nigeria equips karate teams and individuals in Nigeria for continental and world championships including Olympic tournaments as well as offering quality training skills to karate athletes for a better performance in the country.
